Biography

I am currently a postdoctoral research scientist in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Sheffield with Dr Steve Wilkinson. Formerly I worked at the Manchester Interdisciplinary Biocentre with Professors Douglas Kell (see also) and Pedro Mendes.

My work covers various aspects of cheminformatics, bioinformatics, metabolomics and Systems Biology, with a particular interest in drug discovery.

I'm also very interested in the culture of science and finding ways to do research without so much reliance upon grants. You can read more about it in my blog.
