BiographyI was born in Sheffield, and started my undergraduate course in 2009 at The University of Sheffield, where I graduated with a BEng degree in May 2012. For the summer of 2012 I undertook a summer internship in the Sheffield Particle Products Group group, where I was investigating the effects of changing water/sucrose concentration in an oil suspension upon its rheological properties. While on my summer internship, I had the opportunity to apply for a PhD under the supervision of Professor Agba Salman.
ResearchMy research project is being conducted in collaboration with the Nestle Product Technology (York, UK), and the BBSRC. I began my PhD in November 2012 - it is focused on identifying the movement of a secondary immiscible liquid when added to a suspension. |
