Comical Engineering

Adela and Pearl

Three of our research students ran for Sport Relief in Hillsborough Park.

Paul Gilbert (Combustion and Incineration Group), Ian Atkin (Process Fluidcs Group) and Jamil Khan (Process Fluidics Group) dressed up as chemical engineers to run a mile for charity. They had also recruited their friends Jacqueline and Tom for the good cause and raised 277.75 in total.

In the mean time, Adela Khor (Combustion and Incineration Group), Andy Shaw (Process Fluidics Group), Pearl Phongphiphat (Combustion and Incineration Group), Winson Chung (Combustion and Incineration Group), and Kel Win Chua (Particle Products Group) were running in circles in Rother Valley Country Park. Adela said "it was brilliant and I did the mile in only 11 minutes!"
