Salters' prize awarded to Lauren Wilkinson

We are delighted to announce that Lauren Wilkinson, a final year student on our MEng in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry programme, has been awarded a prestigious Salters’ Graduate Prize in Chemical Engineering.

About the Prize

Up to ten prizes are awarded annually to final year undergraduates studying at UK universities. Candidates are nominated initially by their own University to the Salter's Institute, where a selection committee reviews each candidate.

Nominations are subject to rigorous review as the Committee is looking for candidates who will ultimately be able to occupy leading positions in the UK Chemical and Allied Industries. The standard of entry is incredibly high and candidates must not only be expected to achieve a First Class Honours degree in their year of entry, they must also fulfill the Commmittee's requirements relating to intellectual ability, initiative and a concern for the future of the Chemical Industry.

This is a fantastic achievement for Lauren in her graduating year and we wish her all the best for the future.

Congratulations!
