Early Career Researchers presented the House of Commons

The House of Commons played host to the SET for Britain event for early career researchers (PhD students, postdoctoral research fellows and newly appointed lecturers), including Dr Diego Fernandez Lisbona from Chemical and Biological Engineering from the University of Sheffield, where he resented his research to politicians.

The event was held on 18 March, the 180 presenters were divided in to categories;  engineering, biological and biomedical sciences, chemistry and physics after being shortlisted from hundreds of applicants.

Dr Lisbona was selected to present the poster "Development of Resource Efficient Metal Recovery Technologies to Support the UK Energy Agenda" in the Engineering Category.
