Sheffield Chemical Engineers visit Nestle PTC, York

On the 13th of December, a group of Chemical Engineers from the University of Sheffield working on a design project “to develop a nutritious chocolate product”, visited the Nestle PTC York.

Steve Whitehouse, Phil Richardson, Angel Manez, Florian Poirot, Tim Althaus, Ramana Sundara and Linda Ives were involved in introducing PTC York and explaining various unit operations in industrial chocolate manufacturing. The students expressed their gratitude to all involved, finding the experience invaluable in guiding further developing their project work.
