Congratulation Mahmood Al-Mashhadani
First prize at the sixth International Conference on Environmental Science and Technology 2012
The PhD student at the University of Sheffield has been awarded best paper prize at the Sixth International Conference on Environmental Science and Technology 2012 for a fascinating research paper he co-authored.
Mahmood Al-Mashhadani, who is studying Chemical and Biological Engineering, won the award at a ceremony in the US for the research paper entitled 'Removal of acid-gases from digested sludge using microbubble generated by fluidic oscillation', which he co-authored along with Professor Will Zimmerman and Dr Steve Wilkinson from the University of Sheffield's Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering.
The paper looked at enhancing anaerobic digester performance by microbubble interactions.
