Job Vacancies for Graduates & Students
Latest News:The Careers Vacancy Service for University of Sheffield students and graduates has now been rebranded and is now known as 'myVacancies'.
This service gives you access to:
- hundreds of vacancies including; graduate jobs, part-time jobs, vacation work, voluntary work, internships, placements, insight courses and open days.
- email alerts to notify you of new vacancies that match your search criteria.
- an online employer directory for finding out about employers and making speculative applications.
If you are a current student...
you can access myVacancies without the need to register by logging into MUSE (at the top) and clicking on the Careers tab.

Student Jobshop
Our Student Jobshop is open in the Students' Union between 10.00 am - 3.00 pm, Monday to Friday (11.00 am - 3.00 pm Tuesday), to help you look for part-time and vacation work. The Jobshop includes:
- a noticeboard advertising the latest part-time job vacancies in and around Sheffield, including jobs in the University and Students' Union.
- an IT suite to help you search for vacancies and access information and advice about working whilst a student.
- information resources to help you prepare applications for jobs.
- staff available to provide information and advice about working whilst a student.

This section of Information Resources is of interest to international students who wish to search for employment in their home country and for those students who are attracted by the idea of working abroad.
