Consider Presentations if you ...

• already have an established profile on-campus.
• have a well-known name, product or service which students will recognise.
• want to disseminate basic information about your organisation to a group of students.

Presentations continue to be a major element in the profile-raising activities of many companies. At Sheffield the majority of presentations take place between mid-October and late November and during the period mid-February to early May (excluding vacation and examination periods). Most take place in the evening but bookings can also be made for lunchtime events. Early booking is advisable if you are seeking a date between mid-October and mid-November.

A range of rooms and lecture theatres is available on the University campus. Alternatively we can recommend local hotels and other suitable venues in the city.

Presentations are advertised extensively across the campus, and students wishing to attend your event can sign up online.

Charges: Our new presentation packages start at £40 + VAT for a presentation in a lecture theatre with no catering.

Email Service
If you are holding an activity on or off-campus that has not been organised with the Careers Service we can send an email to help publicise the event. You might be interested in using this service if you are planning activities such as quiz nights, meetings in local bars, or events in the Students' Union building. The charge for this service is £25 + VAT. If a sign-up facility is required you will be charged the full administrative fee of £40 + VAT.
