The Sheffield Internship SchemeInterships

New support for businesses interested in recruiting a University of Sheffield student.

Funded by Sheffield City Council, the Sheffield Internship Scheme is aimed at businesses and organisations who are interested in hosting a current University of Sheffield undergraduate student to work on a project based placement.

This scheme is a great way for your organisation to benefit from the up to date skills and knowledge that a student can offer with the added incentive of 100% funding to cover the cost of hosting the student!

Timescale

Student Internships can commence anytime now - internships must be completed by 31 March 2012. Students must complete 100 hours in total – a maximum of 15 hours per week. Project funding is available on a first come, first serve basis so once all 50 internships have been allocated the scheme will close to further applicants.
