Our normal opening hours are:
Monday - Friday: 9.00am - 5.00pm (except Tuesdays when we open at 11.00 am) throughout the year with some variation during vacation.
Careers Advice
Careers Advisers offer brief advice sessions on any careers related subject. They are available mornings and afternoons during semester (times vary during vacation) and can be booked up to five working days in advance by visiting the Careers Service or by phoning 0114 2220910 (early is best). Between now and the Easter vacation we also offer drop in on the day appointments with a Careers Adviser.
CV Checking
We also run CV clinics during term-time. You can book up to five working days in advance by calling in at the Careers Service or by calling us on 0114 2220910. You can also have your CV, covering letter or application form checked at any time of year by booking a Careers Advice session (see above) or submitting an Email Enquiry, attaching your draft version.
Email Enquiry Service
If you are a student or recent graduate and find it difficult to visit the Careers Service, you can use our Email Enquiry Service. Just complete the form explaining your query as fully as possible.
