Electrically shielded rooms
Two Electrically shielded rooms are now ready in our new Drosophila Vision Laboratory: one for a unique Drosophila flight simulator system that allows simultaneous behavioural and electrophysiological measurements; and the other for a new intracellular recording system.
Building the intracellular system
Both the intracellular recording system (above) and the novel Drosophila flight simulator system are starting to shape up.
The flies come their new home
New incubators are now in operation to maintain the key fly stocks.
The offices are ready
Students and post-docs have a new office room with a web-video link to our sister lab in the University of Sheffield.
