As long as I remember, every day I've spent since I came to the University of Sheffield has been new and incredible experience. Academically, the course has always offered me the opportunities to understand and explore the rapidly developing field of Biomedical Science.

During my study at the university, I have gained self-confidence through giving presentations to my course mates and improved skills in writing academic reports in a second language. Everyone in the department is friendly and supporting, and I have never had any problems talking to staff and students whenever I needed any help.

I have also made many friends since the very first day I arrived, not only from the course also people from places all over the world.

As Sheffield is such a diverse city, I can easily get myself involved in different activities when I have time to spare. From shopping to ice skating, pubs and galleries, there are always some surprises awaiting!
