We have an outstanding reputation for the quality and breadth of expertise in biological teaching and were awarded 24/24 in the latest Teaching Quality Assessment (TQA) carried out by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education. As part of the Faculty of Science, we are one of the largest departments within the University and our main buildings are located at the heart of the campus, near the Students' Union and the new Information Commons library.
