The following files in the right hand 'downloads' box may be used to help you teach the heart. The Powerpoint file is a lecture on how the heart works and consists of slides and lecture notes.

The Word files detail experiments on resting heart rate variability and the effect of exercise on heart rate. One file is for use with students, while the second file contains teachers notes.
