Science and the Public: It's a Bug's Life!

Chris Hill treated 46 students from Chaucer School to a whistle stop tour of the Electron Micrsocope suite, as part of their three day mini programme "A Bug's Life", organised by Mark Wentworth (Robert Hill Institute, MBB).

Students were treated to TEM and SEM demonstrations, visualising E.coli and B. subtilis bacteria which they had cultured in practical sessions earlier in the week.
