Janine first came to Sheffield in 2002 as an undergraduate student to read American Studies. She undertakes doctoral study in her spare time (Janine specialises in African American Studies) and works on a range of interdisciplinary, public engagement projects across the University (she took part in Researchers' Night as part of Festival of the Mind, and is project offer on We Are Here, a widening participation project in The School of English.

As Student Liaison Assistant, Janine supports current students during their time with the Department. She also provides administrative support for the Department's work with schools, colleges and prospective students.

Janine welcomes queries from prospective students interested in undertaking undergraduate or postgraduate study in The Department of Biblical Studies or from any schools or colleges interested in working with us.
