University Teacher
BA (Hons), Dip Arch, MA, RIBA
My interests fall into three main areas;
-Environmental design and its integration into current procurement forms.
- Building information, environmental, visualization and manufacturing modelling and its emerging role in architectural practice.
- The design of school environments with a particular emphasis on sustainable and economically efficient design strategies.
My interests are pursued primarily through research by design, both by testing ideas in practice and in my teaching themes.
I am currently developing a £30million through-age academy – possibly the last to be procured through the BSF framework. Other notable completed projects include Barnsley Civic, Evelina Childrens Hospital and UMNO tower (Malaysia).
