Design Tutor
BA, Dip. Arch (PCL), RIBA pt III
I work with undergraduates.
My intention is to encourage their various talents and to propagate
learning not just within the School of Architecture but from
departments throughout the entire university, because of our
privileged location in one of the UK’s foremost learning environments.
It is a treasury of collected knowledge, skills, enthusiasms, people
and just ‘things’. Huge fun to work in for me and with our direction
may be for our students too!
Likewise, I believe that the skills and knowledge gathered in the
course of an architect’s education and career are too diverse to be
restricted to the design of buildings alone. Through necessity my
career has been more varied than that.

Second year studio tutor, also running workshops and loaned out to third year sometimes. I simply try to 'encourage' my students in the literal sense of the word. I believe that establishing a firm foundation in the 'basics' early on in an architect's education is vital to their futures. |
