Palaeogeography, Palaeoclimatology, Palaeoecology Special Issue. Fire and the Palaeoenvironment edited by A.C. Scott, J. Moore & N.B. Brayshay
Other books published

This volume arose from a conference, Fire and the Palaeoenvironment, held at the University of Sheffield in April 1997, organised by Jenny Moore and Neil Rhodes. The aim was to bring together pre-Quaternary and Quaternary scientists, nationally and internationally, with a common interest in fire and its residue, macro and microscopic charcoal. A key feature of Quaternary fire research is whether or not their residue represents human firing and therefore alternation of the environment and so human firing of the environment was considered.
