Studying Applied Mathematics
Undergraduate courses are taught across the three Departments within the School of Mathematics and Statistics:
- Applied Maths
- Pure Maths
- Probability and Statistics
Most Single Honours students start by studying all three subjects and then may specialise later on.
Dual Honours students take some, but not all, of the course taken by Single Honours students, and spend roughly half their time in the School of Mathematics and Statistics.
Students on the Mathematics with Study in Europe course spend their third year at a European university.
