Alumni Reception at Weston Park Museum

Over 200 alumni and friends of the University attended a special drinks reception on Tuesday 4 March 2008 at the recently refurbished Weston Park Museum in Sheffield.

The event proved extremely popular and was full within a few days of being advertised.

Those attending had the opportunity to meet the new Vice-Chancellor, Professor Keith Burnett, who hosted the event. Drinks and a selection of canapés were served to guests.

Professor Burnett later gave a short speech thanking alumni for their support of the University and highlighted the latest developments at the University.

After the speech guests were able to explore the revamped museum and view for themselves its range of exhibitions.
