40th anniversary reunion of Sheffield’s Medical School graduates from 1967

Medical School graduates from the class of 1967 travelled from across the world to attend their recent 40th anniversary reunion.

Organised by Dr James Burton, the reunion dinner took place at the Rising Sun Hotel in Bamford, Hope Valley. 45 of the 80 graduates attended the event with some travelling from as far away as Australia, New Zealand and the USA.

Professors of Medicine, Surgeons, Radiologists, Psychiatrists, Obstetricians, General Practitioners and Anaesthetists were well represented so any eventuality was catered for, but thankfully the party went well!

The group have held a reunion every five years since 1967 and look forward to repeating their celebrations in the future.
