MEng Aerospace Engineering with a Year in North America
|
The experience of and ability to understand different business cultures and build a network of international contacts is a valuable skill for a professional engineer. Employers, particularly those with extensive international links, are increasingly seeking graduates that have this experience and ability. This four-year degree enables you to gain that experience by spending the third year of your course studying aerospace engineering at a leading university in the USA or Canada. You then return to Sheffield and rejoin your original peer group for the fourth and final year. At the North American University you will study an agreed set of aerospace engineering courses. These are selected to mirror, as far as possible, the knowledge and skills gained during third year of the MEng Aerospace Engineering in Sheffield. You will receive advice on the appropriate modules to select during your year abroad and also on your return. The year spent in North America will provide you with wide-ranging opportunities and experiences. You will benefit from the opportunity to live abroad, make international contacts and study aerospace engineering in a leading international university. This course should prove attractive to students wishing to benefit from a year abroad, but in English-speaking North America rather than in Europe. |
