Biography

Dr Sean Anderson is a lecturer in the Department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering, University of Sheffield.  He received the M.Eng. degree in Control Systems Engineering from the Department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering, University of Sheffield, Sheffield, U.K., in 2001, and the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering, University of Sheffield, in 2005. He then moved to the Centre for Signal Processing in Neuroimaging and Systems Neuroscience at the Department of Psychology, University of Sheffield, where he worked as a Research Associate from 2005-2010. He moved to the Department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering in 2010 where he is currently pursuing research themes in bioinspired robotics as well as adaptive and optimal control in biological systems.
