Rolls-Royce University Technology Centre in Systems and Control

In this research centre we co-ordinate and direct programmes of systems and control research for Rolls-Royce and we are devoted to looking after Rolls-Royce's technical interests in the fields of control and monitoring systems and embedded software.

Research Projects

The UTC carries out both short-term and long-term research with the aim of supporting the company's business aims through improving the product, improving productivity and reducing the cost-of-ownership.

Research staff

Present permanent staff comprises five Research Assistants working on core activiteis, and five Research Assistants, three PhD CASE students and six PhD students working on associated activities. In addition, we continue to attract support from visiting researchers, MSc and BEng Students.
