Professor Fleming elected IFAC Fellow
We are pleased to announce that Professor Peter Fleming has been elected a Fellow of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC).
Professor Fleming was selected for the honour by the IFAC Fellow Selection Committee (FSC) for "pioneering research contributions to evolutionary multi-objective optimisation and its application to industrial control design, and for technical and administrative leadership within IFAC".
The award takes immediate effect and is a great accolade as Professor Fleming is one of only two of the first Fellows from the UK.
A formal presentation will be made at the IFAC World Congress in Milan in 2011.
