IET Seminar on UAVs in Civilian Airspace
Dr Tony Dodd, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Automatic Control and Systems Enginering, is again chairing the IET day long seminar on the challenges faced in introducing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) into civilian airspace.
The 2013 event will once again bring together leading researchers, industry, end users and representatives from the Civil Aviation Authority to discuss the technical and regulatory challenges of safely operating UAVs. The seminar will also see the launch of the IET Transport Sector Insight paper "Unmanned Aerial Vehicles: A Future without Pilots?" for which Dr Tony Dodd is the primary author.
