Student accommodation over the summer
If you are a registered student at the University of Sheffield, we have self-catering accommodation available during the summer vacation.
The accommodation is available from Saturday 14 July – Saturday 8 September 2012. Subject to availability, you can book a room for the duration of this period. Rooms can be booked for a minimum of 7 nights and in 7 night blocks only. Unfortunately, we don't offer accommodation at a daily rate. Applications must be received 21 working days prior to arrival. Bookings for one and two weeks will not be considered for September 2012 arrival.
En-suite rooms in contemporary apartments
***LIMITED AVAILABILITY***
There are single rooms available in Cratcliffe apartments in The Endcliffe Village. Apartments vary in size from between 3 - 6 students and are fully equipped with a large shared kitchen/living area. All rooms are en-suite and are comfortably furnished with a wardrobe, desk, chair and single bed.
The Endcliffe Village is only a 5 minute drive or a pleasant 20 minute walk to the University campus and the city centre. Guests can also take advantage of the many facilities at the Village, including a launderette, customer services and a café serving a range of drinks, snacks and meals.
Rooms with shared bathrooms
***LIMITED AVAILABILITY***
There are rooms available at Broad Lane Court self-catering flats in City and Central Campus. These type of rooms are great if you are on a budget. Generally, rooms with a shared bathroom come equipped with a wash hand basin, single bed, wardrobe, desk and chair.
Rooms with shared bathrooms come with other facilities such as a kitchen that you share with your flatmates
How to apply
Apply for accommodation over the summer by downloading the `Summer Vacation Application 2012´ at the bottom of this page. You can apply up until 11 August 2012, however, rooms are allocated on a first come, first served basis so we recommend that you apply as soon as possible.

- En-suite room in Cratcliffe contemporary apartments - £108.99 per week (7 nights)
- Room with a shared bathroom in Broad Lane Court - £90.72 per week (7 nights)
How to pay
After you have submitted your application form, you will be directed to the University online shop. In order to secure your accommodation, you will need to pay online in advance by credit or debit card.
Please note, it is important that you read and print off a copy of the 'Conditions of reservation' prior to making your payment.
