When you apply for University accommodation, you'll be able to choose whether you would prefer to live in The Endcliffe Village, The Ranmoor Village or City and Central Campus.
The Endcliffe Village

The Endcliffe Village is a vibrant, bustling place to live – there’s always something going on and there’s a good night life. It’s ideal for students who want to experience all aspects of student life. It’s not just about partying though – there’s a range of activities to get involved in and it is set within beautiful landscaped grounds for students to enjoy. There’s even a lake with a resident family of ducks!
Home to around 3,500 students, The Endcliffe Village is our biggest location. The majority of accommodation is contemporary shared apartments with en-suite rooms. There are also flats and houses with shared bathrooms, so there’s something to suit all budgets. All our catered accommodation is at Endcliffe.
The range of facilities include a 24-hour Customer Services reception and on-site Security team, Resident Support, café, dining room and bar, grocery store, ATM, cycle storage and a tennis court. It is located around 15-20 minutes away from campus in a popular student area. The majority of students walk to lectures and it’s got good public transport links.
The Ranmoor Village

Ranmoor is a peaceful, relaxed place to live. There’s a real sense of community, and the regular activities and events are a great way to get to know people. It’s perfect for students who want to concentrate on their studies with the option to get involved in student life when it suits them.
Around 1,100 students live in The Ranmoor Village. All the accommodation is self-catering and the majority of rooms are in contemporary apartments. Studios are available too, ideal for couples or for students who prefer their own space. Ranmoor is also home to most of our family accommodation.
The café-bar in The Ridge is a popular place for students to meet up – it serves snacks and hearty meals and is the setting for the majority of social events. There’s 24-hour Security and Customer Services, Resident Support, a launderette and secure cycle stores. Residents can take advantage of the Village Store at The Endcliffe Village, which is only around five minutes away. It is situated around a 20 minute's walk from campus and there are excellent public transport links – there’s a bus stop right outside with buses running every few minutes to and from campus and Sheffield city centre.
City and Central Campus

With the city on your doorstep, this is the ideal choice for students who enjoy the hustle and bustle of busy city living. You’ll be looked after by our Resident Support team, but you won’t have access to as many organised events and activities. It’s perfect for students who want a bit more independence.
Just over 1,200 students live in our City and Central Campus accommodation, in a range of self-catering properties spread out between campus and the city centre. Some are Managed Partnership complexes – we don´t own them, but we do work closely with the landlords to ensure the same high standards that you expect from University accommodation.
Living in our City and Central Campus accommodation means you’ll be surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants. Sheffield is a compact city, so you can walk anywhere in minutes. If you don´t fancy walking, everything is linked by frequent bus and tram services.
