Rents at a glance 2011/12

There are lots of things to consider when making a decision about where to live. The information below should give you an idea of the locations, properties and room types that are available - as well as the contract length, the number of people in each location and the rent.

In University accommodation all your bills are included in the rent - that's water, gas, electricity and internet connection. If you're comparing prices with private accommodation providers and landlords, remember that they don't always include bills and generally only offer longer contracts. So it's worth looking at the annual, as well as the weekly cost.

Where a catering allowance is included, this is mandatory, with a 31 week allowance of £42 per week to spend on food and drink at numerous outlets in The Endcliffe Village, The Ranmoor Village and on campus. Self-catering students also have the option to purchase an eatwithUS card.
