Rent Levels
Rent levels will reflect the location, type of housing, standard and services provided. It is common practice in Sheffield for landlords to request that the rent is paid in advance by either three or four payments during the academic year.
Rent is charged for the full length of the contract which is normally 52 weeks, however, if the property is unoccupied over the summer, some landlords with properties in areas such as Crookes, Hunters Bar and Walkley may consider reducing the rent for six to eight weeks.
The utility bills for the property are normally extra, however, some landlords with properties in areas such as Crookes, Hunters Bar and Walkley may consider including the water rates in the rent.

Shared Student Houses
- Broomhall-£65-£72 per person per week
- Broomhill-£65-£75 per person per week
- Crookes-£55-£65 per person per week
- Crookesmoor-£65-£75 per person per week
- Devonshire Quarter/City Centre-£80-£100 per person per week (en-suite rooms including utilities)
- Hunters Bar-£55-£60 per person per week
- Walkley-£48-£57 per person per week
Bedsits/Studio Flats
- £95-£150 per week
Rooms with Resident Owners
- £65 per person per week (normally inclusive of utility bills)
Family/Couple Accommodation
- Self-contained one-bedroom flat-£425 and upwards per calendar month
- Two or more bedroom houses-£600 and upwards per calendar month

- Walkley-£45-£55 per person per week

- £90-£120 per week
Rooms with Resident Owners
- £60-£70 per person per week (normally inclusive of utility bills)
Family/Couple Accommodation
- Self-contained one-bedroom flat-£425 and upwards per calendar month
- Two or more bedroom houses-£575 and upwards per calendar month
