Orientation Week 2024
Orientation Week is a non-mandatory programme of guided tours, social events and information sessions open to all new and continuing students, international or from the UK, who think they would benefit from a little extra time to settle in to life in Sheffield and the University.
Orientation Week is scheduled for 16 to 20 September 2024. The full programme of events and activities will be advertised from the first week of July.
An airport pick-up 'Meet and Greet' service will also be available at this time. You can find more information about this on our Meet and Greet web page.
Taking part in Orientation is free, though there will be a small charge for some events which can be booked in advance. Accommodation, at a cost, will be available to students taking part in Orientation Week (this will not be the same as your main term-time accommodation). Accommodation bookings will open at the beginning of July.
